Who is The Crafty Adventurer...
Welcome to The Crafty Adventurer, an outdoor educator, guide and inspirer that supports young people to get off the couch and connect with their community, the land and (most importantly!) themselves.
And who exactly is this Crafty Adventurer fella? He’s Roland Fraval, a youth worker, outdoor leader, facilitator and expert creator (and player!!) of games. ​
Roland’s passion is to create long lasting relationships with young people and their families, supporting them in the role of ‘uncle’ with all that that entails. He LOVES adventuring through the paradise we all live in throughout the northern rivers and is a black belt ninja-master level when it comes to making up and getting waaaaay too into playing games! He’s also a group dynamics nerd and has a deep longing to help create a society where community based rites of passage processes are embedded within our cultural norms.
